Volsun Self-curing Insulation Waterproof Protection Pad Material: Protection Expert For Complex Scenes
In the power, communication and other industries, when encountering irregularly shaped equipment that needs insulation and waterproof protection, construction is often a big problem. 1. Core advantages: convenient operation, reliable protection
This material will automatically start to harden (cure) after contact with air. In a standard environment (23℃, 50% humidity), it can be fully cured in about 7 days. It is worth mentioning that within 60 minutes after unpacking (when the temperature is below 30℃), the material is still very soft and can be cut and wrapped at will, perfectly fitting odd-shaped parts such as wire clips and antennas.
● Not afraid of cold or heat: After rigorous testing at -20 degrees for 360 hours or 135 degrees for 168 hours, its insulation strength remains at a high level (breakdown voltage ≥28kV and ≥25kV respectively), so it can be stably constructed all year round, whether in the cold north or the hot south.
● UV resistance and anti-aging: After 1000 hours of high-intensity ultraviolet irradiation test, the self-curing packaging material still has excellent insulation performance (breakdown voltage ≥26kV), ensuring the reliability of long-term outdoor use.
● Insulation and waterproof double insurance: After full curing, the insulation performance is excellent (volume resistivity up to 1×10¹³Ω・m, surface resistivity 5×10¹³Ω), and the flame retardant level reaches the highest V-0 level (extinguished immediately when away from fire). After using it to cover the wire, it can withstand voltages of up to 30kV without being broken down. The waterproof ability reaches the top IP68 level, and it can be safe even if it is immersed in water and applied with a voltage of 12kV for up to 4 hours. This double protection completely isolates the danger of water vapor intrusion and leakage short circuit.
2. Widely applicable: expert in protection of complex scenes

● Distribution network: 90×600mm specifications are recommended. It is particularly suitable for quickly covering irregular parts such as wire clamps and jumpers of overhead lines, providing IP68 waterproof and ultra-high insulation, effectively reducing the risk of line short circuit, and is especially suitable for emergency repair.
● Switch cabinet: 90×300mm specifications are recommended. It is used for insulation protection of exposed metal parts, and the equipment does not even need to be powered off during installation. After curing, it reaches V-0 flame retardant, which significantly improves the safety of operation in the cabinet.
● 4G/5G base station: 80×1000mm specifications are recommended. It provides waterproof protection for key parts such as special-shaped antennas and splitters. Its excellent resistance to UV aging and high and low temperature stability ensures the long-term stable operation of base stations in various complex outdoor climates.
● Emergency repair: Multiple specifications can be used in combination. It is suitable for emergency situations such as cable joint damage and equipment requiring temporary protection. It is ready for use and the 60-minute operation time is sufficient to cope with most emergency conditions, quickly restore equipment operation and minimize losses.
