VOLSUN Showcases Systemic E-Motor Conductive & Insulation Solutions at MOTOR CHINA 2026
Shanghai, China — July 2026
The Challenge: System-Level Reliability under 800V & SiC Platforms
As EV powertrain systems evolve toward higher power densities and voltage platforms, e-motors face unprecedented reliability challenges. Driven by 800V platforms, SiC devices, and high-frequency PWM control, conventional materials are being pushed to their limits:
· Electrical Bearing Erosion — Shaft voltage accumulation causes oil film breakdown, leading to frequent fluting.
· Insulation Degradation — Intensive partial discharge (PD) and corona phenomena accelerate traditional insulation aging.
· High-Speed Instability — Extreme rotational speeds demand strict mechanical strength against thermal-mechanical deformation and centrifugal forces.
VOLSUN's Three Systemic Solutions
To address these critical pain points, VOLSUN is presenting three dedicated solution systems at this year's show.
1. Conductive & Shaft Voltage Control System
Core Product: Shaft Grounding Rings Target Issues: Shaft voltage accumulation, bearing electrical erosion (fluting), and premature failure from oil film breakdown Applications: EV powertrain systems, high-speed industrial motors, variable frequency drives (VFD)
2. Insulation & Structural Enhancement System
Core Products: Carbon fiber and composite products, e-motor insulation structural parts Target Issues: Insufficient high-speed rotor structural strength, thermal-mechanical deformation, insulation lifespan decay
3. Potting & Environmental Protection System
Core Product: Potting glue materials Target Issues: Vibration and shock failures, poor moisture/oil/corrosion resistance, long-term operational degradation

Industry Shift: From Performance to Reliability
The e-motor industry is undergoing a critical transition: competing on pure performance — speed, power, efficiency — is giving way to competing on system reliability, including long-term stability, failure control, and material system integrity.
At MOTOR CHINA 2026, VOLSUN invites OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers to discuss next-generation engineering paths, including:
· 800V e-drive bearing electrical erosion mechanisms
· Design paths for high-speed motor insulation systems
· Material selection and lifespan optimization methods
